Tower Projection Night: Jamaica FLUX

Tower is an interdisciplinary installation work utilizing sculpture, video projection, archiving and community participation. The project reflects on climate change and the biblical story of The Tower of Babel—a story of greed and value of cultural differences. The video projection component of the artwork will show multilingual interviews about climate change, and will be activated for drop-in viewing.

This project is part of Jamaica Flux: Workspaces & Windows 2021 organized by the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning with support from the National Endowment for the Arts, Resorts World New York, and the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation. Tower is additionally funded by the Finlandia Foundation and the Puffin Foundation.
