Hands on History: Curiosity Cabinets

This month, explore curiosity cabinets -- miniature early museums of the 18th century. Find out how early Americans learned about nature and culture (including the problematic parts) then make your own curiosity cabinet as we think about good practices for healthy and respectful cultural exchange in the modern day.

Hands on History is a FREE family program series held each first Saturday of the month at King Manor from 1-4pm. No reservation needed! All children and their adults must wear a mask to participate.

(While we don’t require a registration, it does help us to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone!
Plus, registering will email you a reminder so you don’t forget to join us.)
