On September 14th, 3:30pm, we're welcoming Little Amal to Jamaica Queens! Little Amal is a 12-foot puppet, which represents a 10 year old Syrian Refugee. She has traveled across the world to sight seeing locations -- even meeting the pope -- serving as an international symbol of compassion and of human rights.

Next week, we're hosting a welcoming festival which will feature live music, dance and more! These festivities will begin at JCAL and continue down Jamaica Avenue featuring African Drummers, a marching band and more!

Little Amal, the marching band, and ESOTA will finish off their walk at King Manor Museum, where they will meet a 10-foot “Rufus King” puppet.
