Hands on History: Wind Chimes

This month, we’re making our own wind chimes! Learn about the historical uses of wind chimes in the 19th century across cultures and make some out of recycled materials and found objects to take home.

Also! Make art with Queens artist Juliet James, whose work is currently featured in our Made in Queens exhibition, on display until Sept. 15th!

Hands on History is a FREE family program series held each first Saturday of the month at King Manor from 1-4pm. No reservation needed! All children and their adults must wear a mask to participate.

(While we don’t require a registration, it does help us to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone!
Plus, registering will email you a reminder so you don’t forget to join us.)
