Hands on History: Collaboration, Community, Civics!

Celebrate our community, contribute your creativity, and learn about the amazing successes of a 19th century community movement in Jamaica, Queens that paved the way for Black suffrage and civil rights in New York State. Come by and add your own touch to a large collaborative piece of artwork that will be displayed at King Manor for the rest of 2021.

Hands on History is a FREE family program series held each first Saturday of the month at King Manor from 1-4pm. No reservation needed! All children and their adults must wear a mask to participate.

(While we don’t require a registration, it does help us to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone!
Plus, registering will email you a reminder so you don’t forget to join us.)
