Hands on History: Winter Landscapes!

Winter is upon us and it’s a great time to explore one of the favorite pastimes of 19th century people — landscape painting! There are many landscapes on King Manor’s walls, and while some made it their living, others made it a hobby. Paint a winter scene of Rufus King Park with us and bring it home to keep for yourself or give as a gift!

We will also be offering a Victorian salt dough ornament-making activity! Design your own to take home or have displayed at our Governor's Victorian Holiday Ball on December 17th.

Hands on History is a FREE family program series held each first Saturday of the month at King Manor from 1-4pm.
