Hands On History: Make An 18th Century Pocket!

October 6 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Ever felt like your pockets weren’t big enough? Make another one! Two hundred years ago, pockets had to be worn separately, so we’ll be making a set of pockets to wear on your hips just like those in the 18th century. Never run out of pocket room again!  Then, when you’re done, visit the rest of the museum and learn about Rufus King - Founding Father and early voice in the anti-slavery movement.

Recommended for ages 3 and up, adults also welcome!
